| Ok, so I know that no one is going to read this but I am going to update anyways. If you do read this, you should post something so I know you did :) But otherwise, I just had to update it because it was bothering me. Yes, it has been over a year since I updated. Crazy. It's just that no one uses Xanga much anymore, except a couple of my friends so I read their posts but haven't bothered with me own. So here I am. I guess I'll just say if you want to better keep in touch get a hold of me on myspace, that's where I usually am. KutlessKutie is also the screen name there. Well it's my bedtime so I will talk to all you crazy kids later. Maybe. | | |
| Ready for the xanga posts of all posts? My car was stolen last night. Yup, that's right. My 1994 bright orange Ford Probe was stolen from the UPS parking lot while I was working with all my belongs in it (including a book of 30 CDs, my $230 cell phone that I just bought a month ago, and my purse with my bank card, ID, and other crap in it).
The details to the story could go on forever. And for safety reasons, I won't post who we think did it or why they did it because the police are already on that. All I know is I hope my car turns up. Undoubtedly my cd player and my other stuff has been stripped from it, so I can at least expect that much. We're just hoping it hasn't been dumped in the river by now. I have high hopes that because it happened on UPS property, they may be held liable for it, but we aren't sure yet. My insurance was liability only, so that doesn't cover my stolen car.
Everyone at UPS was so awesome last night when this happened. Well I shouldn't say everyone, with the exception of a few unnamed people. Lori and Erick took me into their office, closed the door, and prayed over me. I became instantly calmed. Cecilia stayed an extra 45 minutes after a long night of work to drove Stephanie, Aaron and I home because we'd been carpooling together in my car. Cecilia lives all the way in Umatilla but still waited for us to write out our reports and stuff. John hopped right in his car and drove around the premises to see if possibly it had just been moved, but no such luck. Aaron told me to call him if I needed anything :)
Wow. I never imagined something like this would happen to me in little old Hermiston. It still hasn't really sunk in. I have to go buy a new phone, get a new debit card, a new drivers license, and on top of everything a new car! How am I going to afford all this? Ha. I'm not. Oh well.
Please be praying for me in this situation. Thanks guys. | | |
| Well...this week has been and is going to continue to be a crazy one. On Sunday we had a leader's meeting after church, and then I went to Stephanie's new house for her house blessing/birthday get-together. It was awesome! Her house is so cute! Then of course I had Refuge on Sunday night. These past couple days I have also been spending a lot of money lol. I bought a really nice new computer desk, a wireless computer mouse and keyboard, a rug for my room, some pillows for my futon, picture frames, a throw blanket for my futon, and some storage bin drawers. I'm lovin it! So Sunday night I worked at UPS until 4:30 am, then came home and slept from 5:30 am til 7:15ish. I got up and showered on under 2 hours of sleep, and then went to work at the church from 9 am til 4 pm. NUTSO! At about 5 I took a nap and then went to work again last night. Today I am working at the church til 4 and then I am supposed to have a conversational spanish class, but I am going to be dropping it after work because it's doing nothing for me since I already learned all of it. The rest of this week will be work work work (tear) and Breakaway on Thursday. I am hoping that this weekend me and some friends can go to the Corn Mazes here or even in Walla Walla (I've heard that ones really good!). I'm excited to actually do something with my weekend instead of just sleep. lol. Well I better get back to work only 50 minutes left. | | |
| It seems Xanga is a little useless at this point in time but I decided to update anyways. Will anyone read this? Probably not lol. Life is good! God is continually blessing me. I am however lacking in the sleep department. My church work schedule has been changed up a bit and I now work Mondays, so I went all of Saturday night without sleeping, went to church from 8:30-1:00 (worship practice, 2 services, membership class), took a 2 hour nap, went to refuge, took another 2 hour nap, and then went to work at UPS. I slept about 5 hours last night and now I'm really tired after a total of 9 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. Yeah that's probably a pretty good number for some people but not me! I like to get at least 6 hours or more a day. Haha. Boy it's been great having Stephanie Fincher back in Hermiston. We do a lot together, and finally I have a Christian girl to hang out with on a regular basis. Last Thursday we went to David's soccer game in Walla Walla, it was great! Poor David though, his teammates continually gave him a hard time about having all girls show up to watch his game. He was pretty embarrassed, and believe it or not I kind of felt bad for the kid! Well my schedule for the rest of the day is SLEEP and then work tonight! Hope all is well with everyone who reads this! | | |
| Hey guys! Wow, let me just say Texas was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! We left on Thursday in the early evening, drove 4 hours to Boise, slept 1 1/2 hours at Gene's house, then she drove us to the airport at 4:45 AM, and we caught our flight at 6:15. From Boise we flew to Salt Lake, and our next flight left Salt Lake at almost 8:00 AM. I sat next to the cutest guy hahahaha. Lucky me! We got to Dallas at 12:15ish, picked up our rental car and drove 2 hours to Lindale where we got all dolled up in our hotel for the first HA weekend event. It was the Commencement Gala, a FANCY dinner and awards ceremony in the Honor Academy gym, everyone looked so good dressed in tuxedos and ball gowns. It was so fun meeting Omar's friends and seeing how God is working in their lives. The next day was even better! We went to the president's luncheon where Ron Luce spoke about the Battle Cry and the extreme need for Jesus that our generation is facing, and following that (and some great food!) we headed over to the gym again for the actual graduation ceremony which was a lot like ATF but more in depth! haha. I mean the worship was led by Micheal Gungor and it was off the chain...and the lights and everything, the great CCM video presentations, A.W.E.S.O.M.E.! Then we waited as all the grads were announced, it was exciting to hear Omar's name called. I also got to see Kortnie a few times throughout the day, and Chance which was great! I also saw Jamie, Angela and the rest of the Bragatos! That night after graduation Tomas came with me, Monica and Omar and we followed Danielle's family to Dallas where we rode the sub way through the city and ended up in downtown with all the lights, street vendors, music, dancing, horsedrawn carriages, it was like right off of TV! Hehe. It was so much fun! That pretty much wrapped up that day. The following day was Sunday, and we went to church at CCF with Omar's friends Sean and Martha. Paul Baloche led worship it was soooooooooo cool! I love his music! I got my picture taken with him and Omar called me a dork, and then we went to lunch at Sam's house. Mmmm good southern cookin'! The afternoon went by slowly, people were going to organize a soccer game but it rained, so I took a much needed nap instead, and then a bunch of us went to dinner at a gross Tex-mex place haha. Nothing like El Cazador! :( Hmmm, after dinner we just went back to the HA, hung around for a while and went back to the hotel. The next morning we went to breakfast with Joel's family at a good little mom & pop's joint, and then went back to the hotel for a nap and some swimming! We got ready and then picked up JUST Omar and the three of us went to Tyler, TX to do some shopping at the mall, and some other stores, and out to dinner at the Olive Garden. I think it was probably my favorite time to be honest, because we got to have some one-on-one time with Omar, and at dinner he shared some of his heart with us which was great. Things were just so chaotic all weekend that it was a much-needed change of pace. That night we took him back to the HA and said goodbye! :( He'll be home for Christmas in like 4 months. All in all it was a GREAT trip and I am glad I went!
GOD BLESS <>< | | |
